This woman is incredible! There is no way that I would have thought she was 100 years old, nor that she would not only be able to use a Nintendo DS correctly but that she would be such an ADDICT! I know there are a lot of games to strengthen critical thinking and reactionary skills (Brain Age, etc) but I wonder if they'll ever create a game to help children connect with music in a game-play setting?
This woman is fantastic! Engaging the brain is necessary to keep sharp at an older age, but most people assume this has to be through a book or word puzzles. Video games can provide the same results while also providing entertainment. As far as children go, they can be tricked into having fun while learning (what a concept!). If that is the most "evil" thing I ever do as a teacher, I will be so happy.
She looks definatley healthy to me. And that is an excellent idea to use Nintendo as a brain helper. She does not even need any glasses to look at that tiny screen. That is amazing! If someone is really old and wants to do the samething, a good eye sight is crucial I think. Not only a Nintendo, but also other technological tools or playing the piano will help them. Thank you for sharing! :)
